Together at iftar.
Grateful for our community.

Remembering our Ramadan iftars at Ihsan, with heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us and everyone whose donations helped provide a meal for the community.

Breaking our fast, together

Alhamdulillah, our Ramadan iftars brought people together at Ihsan to break their fast and share a meal as a community. At the end of a day of fasting, gathering at our centre on University Street offered time to pause, give thanks and enjoy one another’s company.

Everyone who came was part of that shared experience. To all who joined us, thank you for spending these evenings with Ihsan. Your presence helped make the gatherings a reminder of the connection and belonging that community life can bring.

A heartfelt thank-you to our donors

Jazakum Allahu khayran to every person who donated. Your generosity helped provide iftar for the community and made it possible for people to sit down and break their fast together.

Our Ramadan appeal invited a donation of £150 to cover one iftar. We are grateful for every contribution, whatever its size. Behind each donation was an act of care for others, and we want everyone who gave to know that their support is appreciated.

May Allah accept your donations, reward your generosity and place barakah in your lives and the lives of your families. Ameen.

Evenings to come together

The six community iftar dates listed on our original poster were 27 and 28 February, 6 and 7 March, and 13 and 14 March 2026.

The invitation reflected a simple purpose: feeding the community for Allah’s pleasure. Looking back, we give thanks for the people who joined us and the generosity that supported these shared meals.

With gratitude from Ihsan

To everyone who attended, everyone who donated and everyone who helped make the iftars possible: thank you. We are grateful to share Ramadan with our community, and we pray that Allah accepts our fasting, worship and good deeds.

About your reminder settings

Reminders are optional and apply to this browser or installed app only. We store its notification subscription and your chosen prayers and timing so we can send reminders. No name, email or location is needed. Turning reminders off removes that subscription from our server.

These reminders always use Ihsan’s Belfast timetable, including when you travel. Keep using the prayer timetable if an alert is delayed or missed.
